How to Choose a Caster Based on Material

There are seven types of insertion casters compatible with the Erector Shelf Super Series (formerly known as Super Erector), depending on the material. We will introduce how to choose caster materials based on their intended use and how to calculate load capacity. First, the load capacity of standard casters assumes movement on a flat floor by human power. If you are pulling them up a slope or towing them with another vehicle, the load on the casters will differ, so specialized products should be selected. The Erector Shelf is not designed for towing with vehicles, so we do not handle towing casters.
